peter 'memory' banks
1971 - 1983
Formally in Unanimity, became founder member of ATF in 1971. After a brief period in Narnia in which one album was released, he reformed ATF in 1974, and continued as principle composer to the split in 1983. With King, formed Zip Codes in 1984, but project cut short by King's death in 1987. One album was issued posthumously. Subsequently, ran Villa Studios in Essex, and eventually moved into the computing business. His company is currently the host of this site. Married to Charlotte, with one son Sam.

andy piercy
1974 - 1983
Formally one half of acoustic duo Ishmeal & Andy, they released one album before splitting in 1973. Piercy joined ATF in 1974 and continued as lead vox and principle lyricist until the split in 1983. Subsequently took the ATF name on and, with Russell, issued three singles. A solo album was recorded but not released. After trying to secure a deal for a second solo album, Piercy spent some years as a producer, including material by Cutting Edge/Delirious. He joined the staff of Holy Trinity Church, Brompton (HTB) and emerged as a worship leader, issuing two albums with Dave Clifton. He is married to Judy, with two daughters.

john russell
1978 - 1983
With Pauline Filby, Russell formed the People Band, Agape, and then Narnia in 1973. After issuing one album, he left in 1974. After forming a new band Starship, he joined ATF in 1978, taking over lead guitar, which he continued until the split in 1983. After working with Piercy on the post-ATF material, releasing three singles as 'ATF', he formed Press Any Key in 1984 with his brother, and released a single album in 1986. He subsequently dropped out of the music business, and eventually became a church leader with the Stoughton Congregation, Guildford. He is married to Cathie with two children Matthew and Katie.

peter king
1980 - 1983
Formally in the Fly's, joined ATF in 1980 and remained on percusion duties until the bands' split in 1983. Teamed up with Banks to form Zip Codes, recording much material and performing a limited number of live shows. Tragically, King developed cancer and died in 1987. An album of Zip Codes material was released after his death.

ivor twidell
1977 - 1979
Formally a farmer, Twidell joined ATF in 1977 and saw them break into the charts before leaving for personal reasons in 1979. Returning to full time employment, he continued to write and record solo material, assembling the Part Time Heroes for the purpose. Released two albums before dropping out of the music scene completely. Subsequently, joined the police and rapidly rose to the level of Chief Superintendent in the Bedfordshire force. In 1999, he made a special guest appearance at Banksy's birthday bash, resulting in a true reunion of an actual ATF line-up.

nick battle
1977 - 1978
Joined ATF in 1977 and recorded one album with the band before leaving the following year to join Writz. Recorded one album with Writz before departing in 1980. Formed a solo band Sporting Life, and released a couple of singles. Subsequently moved behind the scenes in the music busines taking on management and promotion roles, where he remains. This work has given him influence on numerous artists from Fascinating Aida to the Spice Girls.

nick brotherwood
1979 - 1980
Formally in The Mighty Flyers, who recorded four albums, Brotherwood joined the Alwyn Wall Band in 1977, recording one album. Conituing as a session bassist for a while, his oppertunity to join ATF came when Twidell left suddenly in 1979. Brotherwood stepped in to fulfill committments, then joined formerly. After recording material for the second CBS album, the arrangement does not work out, and Brotherwood leaves the same year. Subsequently, trained as an Anglican minister, and now works as a Priest in Canada.
